Some cleaning up
Well...as it turns out, blogger has a 20 page limit which I reached a few days back, so against my better judgement I had to do some cleaning up. Sadly starting with my comic. There will be some pages coming and going for awhile as I figure out what to do with my reviews and stuff, in the meantime, if you want to support this blog and help keep me going with reviews and stuff do feel free to donate to my Paypal account using the Donate button on the side there, any amount will do. I will say this, there will be some new Let's Play videos coming soon and I will be posting them on my youtube channel soon.

Single Player Lite Rant
It seems as of late games are trying to make everything connect to the net, even to the point where they are doing this with Single Player modes. Games like Dragon's Dogma and The Sims 3, as of the Showtime Add-On, let the player connect to the net in order to use features like Dogma's borrowing other player's Pawna and Sims 3's sending a player's Sim to a friend's city. However some games take this to the extreme, I found out that with Blizzard's Diablo 3, you can't even PLAY online without being connected to the internet and even worse, if the servers are full, you still can't play! These Game Designers are idiots, the Single Player mode should NEVER have ANYTHING to do with being online in any shape and form, it is called SINGLE Player for a reason!

The Blame Game
It seems in today's gaming world, the gaming companies are laying the blame on everyone else but themselves. The major point with Square blaming the current line of consoles as the main reason their games are bad...no...the reason their games are bad is because they are focusing too much on making them LOOK good than making them PLAY good. If they don't want the consoles to slow them down then they should go into making computer games from here on out. I can't name a solid game that has come out that had ONLY Square's name on it. Other games have been made on those same consoles and have been named Game of the Year and look great in every aspect, and yet Square wants to say how they are being limited by said consoles? How about you worry less about the current consoles and worry more about making a good game for once!

The Minecraft Survival Guide
One of the things I've noticed about online video game guides and guide books is that none of them offers a simple, easy to follow guide to just getting started in the game but guides them through the whole game. I though this always takes the fun out of a game and I came up with a guide for the very popular game Minecraft. This does not tell you where to find diamonds or how to create a massive castle out of nothing but wool. This is for the people who have never played it and just wish to survival those first few days full of Creepers and Zombies. I hope this guide will be of use to the newcomers of Minecraft.

Stupid Gamers...I swear...
Ok, so I was in a chat room a few days ago with some friends, when this one person came in and said that they hate the Nintendo 3DS, wondering what was the reason for this person's hatred for it I asked why and they said...and I'm not making this up..."I hate it because I can't play 3DS games on my DS!" I had to stop and read that again to see if I understood that post, I then pointed out that, well...ofcourse it wouldn't play on the DS because they aren't the same system though they weren't hearing it, saying that they looked the same. Even when I used their logic against them, saying "I hate the Wii [which I don't] because I can't play Wii games on the Gamecube!" In the end they called me an ass and left. So...yeah...stupid people...always a laugh.

Kickstarter and You
In today's gaming world, it takes a LOT of money to make a video game. Sometimes it takes millions of dollars for a high end game to be made and put on the market. Now it seems that Gaming Companies are reaching out to the gamers out there for money in the form of the Kickstarter site. Basically what this means is they show they are looking for donations towards their game, once it reaches a set amount it'll get started. The biggest one that I heard of is the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter, however is this really a good thing? To have the fans put their money into a game before it even comes out? Now the safe thing about the Kickstarters is that if for whatever reason the project doesn't reach its goals, then the money goes back to you. My issue is, while it may SOUND like a good idea, what if the game YOU put your money towards ends up being crap and you paid, not only for the game to be made, but bought the game as well. Does this mean you get to tell the Gaming Company to change it or are you just up a river without a paddle? I honestly don't think it is a good idea, its a major risk to put money into a game you don't even know it'll end up being good, however, its your money, do with it as you wish.
